When you stand up in front of a room, you feel like you don't deserve to be there in the first place.

To shake yourself out of that negative self-perception,  ask yourself these questions:

1. What would you notice, or feel, if you had the right to be in the room?
2. How would you be standing, sitting, or speaking if you had the right to be in the room?
3. What would other people say to you if you had the right to be in the room?
